...I forget to remove my chuck key before I turn on my drill press, which then chucks my chuck key into my swarf bucket

How 'bout you? Any forehead slapping going on in your shop?

simple solution ...use a keyless chuck....
I hate it when…. I left a drill bit in a keyless chuck and the chuck locks up. Actually happened in a woodworking shop I worked in. Guy left a large forstner bit chucked in the keyless chuck, took quite a while to finally get the bit out.

Mine only flew across the room at dangerous speeds once or twice before I used the little clip on the side of the drill press?

Last batch I put this knife through its sheath while wet molding it:

So I built it a new sheath and wet molded it again and dang if I didn't put it through the leather again. Didn't slap my forehead but did use bad words spelled with all the top keys on this keyboard like: !^$&(). and even (^&*$#Z! and did throw things around the shop!

Third time was the charm:

Yeah I hate having to scrape blades.
For example, I’ve had to scrape quite a few blades in CruforgeV because I forged it just a little to cold and it cracked 😫

I hate it when a friend asks me to sharpen a few of their knives and I need to take the knives to the belt sander before bench stones because of complete lack of maintenance.

I hate "perfect" because no one ever defines their tolerances
Also cleaning the shop, that's terrible
