I Hate Jack Reacher

I like to take my time reading a good book. Jack Reacher & Lee Child don't allow that. As soon as I reach a point in the book where I need to put it aside, Reacher comes up with some weird twist at the end of the chapter, which forces me to the next chapter; then the next, and then the next - until it is too late to do what ever I had to do. I am going to quit reading him as soon as I finish THE HARD WAY; and his latest, HARD LUCK AND TROUBLE.

Thats' it: I mean it: I'm done with him.........:rolleyes:
 
Ren - I have read all the Reacher novels - I believe Killing Floor was the first in the series - I've read all of them, except the newest. Lee Child just doesn't let up - he is doing one or two a year ~ Damn!

Read Hunter too - Read most of his novels - enjoyed all of them.

Still hate Reacher............:grumpy:
 
I've read and love'm all, including the latest and it's only more of the same great stuff!:cool:
 
I just discovered Lee Child and am loving it. In addition to Steven Hunter try Robert Crais, his character Elvis Cole kind of reminds me of Robert Parkers Spenser. I also love to read Daniel Silvas novels about Gabriel Allon and of course my favorite novels are the Burke novels by Andrew Vachss.
 
I just "discovered" the Reacher series. Yikes! I've got a lot of good reading to do. I started with the most recent. The one just released a few days ago (Worth Dying For) and now I'm hooked. Picked up The Hard Way at Wally World the other day and so far it's reading like a blockbuster movie. Highly recommended.

Wow! This thread is 3 years old; and he is still driving me "up the wall". He never lets you down; He and Dave Robicheaux, (James Lee Burke), are my favorite tough guys.
 
Vince Flynn and David Baldachi should foot the bill too. (Don't blame me if you end of loving their work too.)

Just finished 61 hours by Child.
