Can someone recommend a more "balanced" home page that does not bombard the viewer with leftist/unimportant crap?

It does not have to push a particular agenda, one way or the other, but the news sourcing of Washington Post/Newsweek has finally driven me bonkers.

All recommendations appreciated.

Best Regards,

I have no problems with my Yahoo home page. The only stuff on there, is what I select.

My Yahoo is excellent and has an extensive amount of customizable content. I've been using it for 5 years....:)

Mozilla Firefox...no fancy packaging, just news from a variety of sources all over the nation and world.

I hear you %100 , I have used Google as my homepage almost since it's inception , it is simple , loads faster than anything and I can go wherever I need to.
It has news , pics , vids you name it.

Create a custom google homepage with RSS Feeds from any place you like. They have it all, from fox news to CNN, weather, sports, games, etc etc....

Go to google.com and click personalized home up in the corner.

Best thing I ever did. I hate MSN as well. Best thing is that you get all of this with no ads, no useless BS... You have total control.

Mozilla is set to Bladeforums and the ticker in the top right is set to jerzeedevil. IE is set to Google. No problems with content to date.

I'll second the vote for about:blank , it's been my homepage ever since I discovered the internet. Keeps the load times down, too.
