I HATE picking one knife

So, when I go on a weekend trip somewhere like my dad's house or out for a long ride i take a multi tool and a blade. Multi tools i don't have many of, and usually bring either a swisschamp or swisstool. If i cant decide i bring both, big deal. But my blades on the other hand kill me. I usually pick between a partially serrated griptilian 551, kershaw blur, benchmade benchmite II or spyderco caly 3 in zdp. The pocket knives are what kill me. If i'm going just me and my gf ill bring the caly3 because she knows all about knives now, how i use them and what not to use them on. Other people i may be around may not and i hate saying no or babying them and telling them i'll do it, especially my seniors. But, i also am a light packer and refuse to carry two pocket knives. It all comes down to the trip, but its either pack a knife i dont mind lending out and possibly getting the blade knicked, or carrying a knife i like or means something to me, and being put between a rock and a hard place.

I know what you're saying.
And I relate to this quote in particular the most. But not only knicked, but lost all together, or left in the rain or something, ahah. I think of knives as tools and some I have a passion for more than others. To some, that sounds crazy, and they may be right :thumbup: But at least I'm in common company here

Most definately. I have a table of all of the knives and tools i will take out with me. What ever else is in a lockbox or cardboard boxes are either retired, damaged in some way or too sentimental to use. So here's what i do have out:

-Victorinox Swisschamp & Swisstool
-Spyderco Caly 3 CF in ZDP-189
-Buck 110
-Benchmade Griptilian 551S
-Benchmade Benchmite II
-Kershaw Blur
-Buck X-Tract (which i have on my belt now, forgot it was even there until i looked at the table haha)
Then for fixed blades i have my JK Seraphim, Mora Clipper 860 and Puma White Hunter.

No idea what i'm bringing to my dads this weekend for my brothers birthday. Probably the Caly 3 and swisschamp/swisstool.
