I'm not seeing much progress here. I think you need to step the game up.

hehehe. For shits and giggles I decided to see if there was a Fiddleback
thread from when Andy first got his KMG. I just had to know if he was acting
as goofy about getting one as I am. However, only a few threads under
that one in the search, I saw these beauties.

I will admit, that sheath looks badass. These pictures made me feel a lot better.
I remember very well how proud and smiley I was just a year ago to show these
stinkies off. Now, I think back to walking around the Blade Show, showing these
"knives" to anyone that would look at them and I think, "Jesus I wish I had left
them at home." lol Speaking of which, why didn't you talk some sense into me?
The only good they did me that weekend was to open beers with.

The "Bushcraft Knife"
This one I am actually still kind of proud of. It turned out decent for being the first "all me" knife.

The "Early Learning Knives"
Some started out as files, but I think you might recognize one that didn't. It was one of my "fixer-uppers".

The "Kitchen Knives"
Two more of the "fixer-uppers". I think that this was when my handles started to come out somewhat decent. My mom likes 'em anyways. She never uses them... but that's only because of how awesome they are. She doesn't want to mess 'em up. Got nothin to do with them sucking as kitchen knives. ;) Sorry for the crappy pictures. I was trying to find some way to take pictures of them before my mom took them home and all I had handy was my scanner.

Sorry, but I absolute could not force myself from posting this thread when I saw those bad boys. Although, it's not like it matters now. Everybody has to start somewhere and I'm sure that every knifemaker has a handful of blades that looks just like these from the early days. Besides, you're Mr. Man now so seeing these beginners is just fun.

Heh, brother I've got way more than a handful myself.:o I've got maybe a ruck sack full.:D

It's always good to see where you've come from though, even if it is painful.
