:mad: They've completely lost my Steel hearts... were due last Tuesday and are totally lost. Neither of the hubs have any record of receiving them or sending them to the next nor do any of the transporters or delivery drivers...

That’s crazy ! I’d call the shop in the morning and let them know, if you already haven’t.

Like PeteyTwoPointOne
I should add that I’ve also had this happen once and then it just showed up. Hopefully it goes the same for you

That happened with my Axe Hammer, although it was USPS rather than UPS. The knife disappeared from tracking, but was delivered about a week after I reported it missing. Funny thing is that USPS still doesn't seem to know it was delivered. Every once in a while they send me an email saying they're still looking, and I send them a couple saying I already got it, but they never seem to have gotten the message.

I have had great luck with the UPS and their tracking system. My UPS driver always likes to see what knife I received from Busse.:D

I had that happen when we got a new driver, He placed it at the house next door and there it sat for 3 days until the neighbor showed up at my door to finish the delivery . I rectified that by giving him a Christmas card so now Jeff knows me by name and takes special care of my small packages and carrying large ones into the house for the wife. < I feel some jokes coming with that last statement Lol. I hope someone shows up with yours soon Op.

Fed Ex never ceases to piss me off. I bet I ran to the front door at least twenty times today expecting to get a package that never showed up and their tracking location of my package hasn't changed in five days.

Personally I think UPS is a 1000 times better than FedEx. I can tell you some FedEx stories....

But here is a UPS story about Busse.

I had a Battle Saw or a Battle Mistress, can't remember now which model, mis-delivered by UPS and they also dropped off 1200 rounds of 5.56 at the wrong house. There was some teenage kid who signed for both pretending it was me. They lived about 4 blocks down from me. UPS knew where they were, but the parents kept answering the door and saying they had no idea what UPS was talking about.

I have a friend who runs the Union at our Local UPS. Called him. They sent out a driver at like 10 o'clock at night knocked on the door and low and behold the kid cracked and the stuff came out of the closet and was redelivered to me.

I made Busse aware of it and they had my back the whole way. Even offered to have me send the knife back to refinish it because the kid had played with it in the back yard. I did not really care as it was a user so I kept it.

The driver transposed the address or something and the kid thought that no one would miss a thousand dollars in knives and ammo....

For me UPS is golden, USPS is not. No one shipping solution works for all locations. It all gets down to the local guys and gals. If one shipper has the best people local, it is clear to everyone that gets freight on a regular basis who they would prefer to use.

I asked for usps shipping on the NFNO as some kind of problem always happens with ups

Yes you can request that all your new purchases can be shipped via USPS just call Amy-O...

Another option...

When my last package went AWOL with the brown truck guys I created a "My UPS" account because there's a UPS hub near my house that will allow you to pick up your packages on site. I chose that option and it's been great not having to worry about syncing up getting off work with my route guy's schedule...that was a pain.

You probably have a UPS store near your home, I bet. They'll let you pick up your parcels there on your schedule. Just reroute it thru the My UPS app and they'll hold it safe and sound for pickup at your convenience.

I had UPS leave a package in front of our secure parcel lockers (that they have access to) with a $1500 import duties receipt plastered right on top...delivery note said "Left at: other, released"...w in the actual f?

Fortunately I'm obsessive about tracking so it only sat unattended for about 20 minutes. I hate UPS and will avoid using them if at all possible.

Oh dude.. sorry man
ups sure sounds more like "oops" doesnt it..
