A 2x48 burrking is being sold in my town for $500 (Tucson, AZ). Looks to be in really good condition too. These run for ~$2000 new.

And I don't even have $200 on me. I dislike being a college student >:[

If you did by chance get it, I'd swap the front and rear pulley's to slow it down a bit to do handles and such. Mine was flat out burning up G10 Micarta, and wood alike.

I don't know how much they cost now, but I bought a 2x72" coots grinder seven years ago for around $400. I don't know anything about 2x48 " grinders, but $500 sounds like a lot to me.

A new Burr King 2x48 starts at 1800 not including the pedistal so 500 is a good deal. I bought a Coote for 400 as well about 3 years ago and got a bunch of accessories to go with it. Don, is it variable speed?

i would buy it just to have a extra grinder. any wheels with it ?? how does it track ?? have you seen it in person ??
