I hate when people do this...

A while back there was a great thread where people were mailing a knife back and forth and everyone was doing a mod to it and sending it along. I forgot to save it, and for the life of me I can't seem to find it with the search. Anyone know what the thread was? In order to make this thread not a total waste I offer up this picture of my BK-14. I let it spend some quality time with a lemon this weekend and here are the results:

Did you post in the thread? Or remember a name that did, look up their account and click on the recent posts. From there you can back-track to find that thread.

Otherwise, nice patina, it looks like a Pink Floyd album cover.

I wouldnt mind jumpin in that kind of thread, and that's some nice work on the patina

The only thing more unacceptable on a forum than asking a question that can easily be searched is to ask for a link to a specific thread. I was trying to temper the "Use the damn search bar!" response. ;)

Well, I'm just creeping into the world of customizing my knives. I get really nervous about messing something up (especially the edge). But stripping the finish off of a Becker and sticking it in citrus fruit overnight is an easy enough thing to do. I think I am going to start doing some experimenting on a CS GI Tanto I got a while back. I just need to get my hands on the tool to make it happen.

In the OP, the dude said he couldn't find it using search. He tried, so cut him some slack. Sometimes the old noggin' won't conjure the right keyword.

Nice patina.
