I already have over 100 posts and have bought 5 things and spent over 300 dollars at knifecenter since joining...

im hooked.
 
If you hate us now, wait til next year when you have over 2000 posts and just as many dollars spent:thumbup:.
 
It won't be long before you start to consider spending that much on one knife.:D This place has a way of warping your mind like that, provided you can afford it.

Yes it does, among other things such as Private Messaging, having a custom avatar, and being able to sell in the Exchange. Plus you get the satisfaction of knowing that you're helping to support this place.
 
I first came on here to ask a question about ONE particular knife. Look what happened . . .

If it's any consolation, let me just tell you that I wish that I had spent only $300.00 since joining. And I only have 202 post so far. Welcome.:D
 
I hate you for reminding me how much I've spent since joining. 7 CRK's, 2 Spyderco's and 1 Hinderer later you can guess around how much I've spent. :barf:

It's one of those things you try to forget... with alcohol. :D
 
I know how you feel..

I don't have many posts, but i lurk a lot! I paid for gold just for the sake of contributing to a great forum!

When I got here I had a BM Vex and a Spyderco Tenacious and I was perfectly happy with those.. But nah, obviously I had to get a Millie, Para2 sprint, spydie GB, Dragonfly2 with G10 and a RC-3... (+ some cheaper ones) And yeah, first I got a Sharpmaker but then I really felt the need to get the edges polished so I bought the full EP apex kit.. I joined here in May..

Now I can't decide whether to get a Seb, XM-18 or a SNG. The sad truth is that I'll probably get all of them... Do I need any of them? Hell no!
 
Welcome to the club! It only gets more fun and more expensive. There are certainly worse hobbies. Enjoy!
 
When first found this site I thought who has Custom made pocket knives? Oil tycoons? Rock stars? I knew I was done for the first time someone asked me what I'd paid for a Microtech, and I couldn't tell them the truth cause they'd think I'd lost my mind.

only from knifecenter? sure they have a good selection and i have bought from them but you might wanna shop around to get better deals unless they have the best deals for the knifes your looking for... just saying.
 
Haha, funny, I looked at my post count, and it's roughly equivalent to the amount of money I've spent on knives since joining. You'll have to watch out for that...

I'm just glad I'm not at the same ratio as Bluesummers. :eek:
 
I am relatively new here also. I've been a member for a while but just started posting. I have probably spent close to $1000 in the past few months. Now I am hinting to my wife it would be nice to have a custom for Christmas. Of course I am now looking for a sway back jack, trapper, a Benchmade, a ...

I don't expect my affliction to improve at all. At least I'll get to enjoy my new toys:D
 
I have spend much more in the first year and after just to get it down to the one and only knife.

But it is not as expensive as other hobbies.
