Hey guys I have $100 to spend on a new folder. I'm kind of a fixed knife guy but I want you to recommend me a few folder in the the $100 price range. In my reviews I'm kind of leaning towards the Spyderco Native 5. Thanks for your input.

Paramilitary 2, Manix 2, Boker kwaiken, Benchmade 915 (one of my favs if you do not mind going up a few $), Spyderco Junior, Extrema Ratio BF1 (I think it is a bit above you range though), the s30v Kershaw Skyline here on bladeforums if that is still going.

Griptillian($85-$100), the limited spiderweb Blur in CPM-154($90) Wilson Combat ELC($120), Zero Tolerance 350/350TS(steelhead15@juno.com is selling the 350/350TS on here for $110 Shipped last I checked)

If you're a Buck Guy, like your name implies. I say check out the Buck Vantage Pro, or Buck Vantage Force Pro.
You can pick up the large Vantage Pro for around $55-$60.
Or the Vantage Force Pro for $70 - $80.

Otherwise.. for $100 you can't go wrong with the Spyderco Para 2.

The Native 5 is a fine knife though.

Kershaw JYD2, Blur, and as many people have noted, you can sometimes find Spyderco Militaries and Paramilitary 2's on the exchange for $100 or less. Add the Gayle Bradley to that list too.

The limited edition Kershaw Blurs are under $100 and have CPM-154 blades. One of my personal favorites is the Kershaw Speedbump, blade shape and stud-lock are very useful.

Personally I don't know of even up to a $200 folder that can compare with the overall quality of the Spyderco ParaMilitary 2. It is most excellent in pretty much every way. If you reeeeeally want something a little stouter blade thickness wise, I would recommend a plain Jane Benchmade Grip 551... But BM can't hold a candle to the overall quality/feel/price of Spyderco's Golden, CO offerings.

WHATEVER you decide, you are in a position to buy USA made! So support your "local" economy!

Spyderco PM2 is a great choice, I would also consider the Spyderco Stretch, you may find the ZDP-189 version around $100. The Sage series (2 and 4 won't be had for around $100) is also a great all-around choice.

Kershaw Speedform II has an Elmax blade and is under $90, and some places have it as low as $70.
You will NOT find a blade steel as good as Elmax for less than that price. And Kershaw makes a quality knife.

In terms of best quality steel for the money, that's the best bang for the buck.

I was going to say Manix 2 because its easily my favorite in that price range, but then I remembered you can get a black coated griptilian with M4 steel for about that price right now...

Get the Native 5 you won't be disappointed. Its my main EDC right now. Much easier to come across than a Para 2 at the moment. Those would be my two top choices.

Great suggestions guys I appreciate it. Keep them coming. Every knife that was suggested Has crossed my mind except the Kershaw brand. I'm really wanting either a Spyderco or a Benchmade.

I'm a leaning towards the Native 5. I'm a custodian and I think the Native 5 would be the perfect size EDC for me. Thanks for your input.

Benchmade 710 is a real classic, looks like they're available for about $110.
