I recently ran into a bit of money and am looking for an edc blade. Any ideas? Blade 4 inches and under. Doesn't need to be a hard use folder or "tactical", just something that gets the job done. It will be used for everyday cutting tasks. I may be able to go a bit higher but I'd really need to like it. Thanks.

Find another $20 and get a Benchmade mini ritter. One of my favorite knives for edc. You won't be disappointed.

For around $120, or a little less you can get a Yojimbo 2. There are a couple of cool Endura variants in ZDP189 or Aogami Super Blue steel that cost about $90.

Blurs are another great option, the 154CM ones can be had $100. The S30V version (my favourite) is a little bit cheaper. The Junkyard Dog II is also within your budget, the composite blade is really cool (the funky clip is the only thing I don't like about it).

go with a Mini grip or a Pardue from BM. some of the Sage series from Spyderco are very nice, or any Spyderco around that price. Definitely can't go wrong with some Blurs in more premium steel. Or if you get lucky around the exchange, pick up an used ZT0350.

Get your self a Spyderco Delica ZDP189 and you will be a happy man.! Not to small and not to big ~~ it will do the job for you.!* I carry one as my EDC Knife in left pocket everyday and I love it.**

Kershaw Blur is a good option, held one at a gun show and I must admit that thing inspired confidence in me the second I picked it up. It just felt like it be up to any task I threw at it. I currently EDC a Cryo though with the funds you have I go with a Blur and probably a Kershaw Skyline when you want to carry something a bit lighter.

Than there is the Ka-bar Phat Bob, Spyderco Native, Buck Vantage Pro/Vantage Force, ZT 0350 (if you can spring a little extra cash)

My favorite under $100 knife is my Benchmade mini 555 or 556 in 154CM. These are great edc knives for the price.
