I found yesterday two M43s the Nepali receiving staff had hidden from me. Very well made by old faithful Kesar who has been getting some very good reviews lately and for good reason.

These two knives are excellently done and seem to be pretty faithful to the model but what else could we expect from old faithful.

My question is: Who gets them?

ME!IWILL RELIEVE YOU OF THE BURDEN OF ONE!Everyone else is broke, & I'm just trying to be helpful!hee! This is just the beginning!:D

Uncle Bill, Did you say Kesar?:D *drooling* If the next on the list doesn't want one or for some reason can't get one now, I'll take it. :)

Whew! I'm sure glad yall be me to the draw, my pocket is still smoking from last week:eek: but a chance at a M43, I think I could have barely stood it ;).

Let's let this ride until noon or 1PM and then ship. They are ready to go -- it's just a matter of to whom and where.

Boys, the Caveman is tough!!!!

Well Jim, If you get disqualified ,get sick,go to the bathroom or any other unfortunate thing happens, I'll volunteer to take your place :)

mgnew, I know how you feel. Kesar is my favorite Kami and I've been wanting an M-43 for about 6 years now. This is almost more that I can bear.

Some one please claim these two wonderfull Khuks really fast, or let me at em. :)

I also would like one! especially by Kesar! I can't remember how the list went so I think it would be fair to let Uncle Bill send them out to people the best he can remember!;)

Here's a not so good picture.

17.5 overall
a shade over 1/4 thick
weight about 27 oz.
Fit finish -- near perfect
Steel polished up so well it looks like silver
good karda and chakma
very good scabbard

Thanks O Saintly one(Jim) for thinking of my well being . I have to get my priorities straight, the freezer is full of deer meat, bills are all caught up, and the wife has her Christmas allowance, sOOOOOOO #1 on my list is another Khukuri for me :D. I mean my small but growing collection. :)

Is it Jim and Heber?

An hour to go.

If Jim wants to be saintly then it's Keith and Heber.

Jim is the only one who emailed.

If one of you guys want it that bad,I'll stand down but don't wait too long!! I can only be Saintly sooo long & it doesn't happen often!:p

I think these are maybe a little closer to the original model, but I wouldn't swear to anything.:)

The M-43 is becomeing more and more attractive each time I see one, no doubt one lays somewhere in my future.;)

NDN,
Keep dreaming!:D I'm younger ,faster, just an all around a nice guy! That means you better get Wal. & AC to help(you all will still lose)cause the rest are going to the Cave for RIGHTOUS RESEARCH from Koz & me!:DNo you ain't getting one from me for the holidays either!!:D

Hi Uncle Bill, depending on the price I might take one instead of the WW-II which I ordered. The thickness doesn't appear to be excessive, and it is STEEL FITTED!!

Let me know the price asap on this forum, and I'll decide right away. thanks.
