I think I am turning into a INFI Hog! Less than a week ago I posted on this site to just "ask about" Busse knives and see if they were worth it. 2 days later I traded for an SFNO custom shop and an FFBM with Knife Hunter.

Today I have reached another trade deal on a Sage AD (my new EDC) with another member (EL GRANPANA).

I am also working on a deal for 2 identical GW's with another member.

AAARRRGGG! I don't even have one of these in my hands yet and I own 3 of them! But I WANT MORE! The "must have" list is growing with no end (except of my budget) in sight!

Is this normal? Does it get worse? Does anyone else spend hours watching the knife tests videos over and over thinking of the day when you can use your very own FFBM to neuter golems made of concrete and iron all WITHOUT chipping the edge? :D

I have tried drinking and it seems to make it worse! What do I do? :confused:

OINK?!? Er ah I mean HELP! :eek: At what point do I need a porcine-pseudonym? If it is available, I prefer the Hog name "Vlakvark" (it is Afrikaans for Warthog) as I hunt in South Africa a lot.


PS: Anyone know where I can get an AK Sword? I can gladly get you some transplantable organs (as well as other assorted bits). Just email me your blood type and I will... Well you don't really need the details right? :D

Tell me about it.....I ordered an Ash from the site about 3 weeks ago. My first Busse (which I still have not received). Between then and now I bought a Fatty GW & Boney AD. Now I am constantly refreshing the exchange and in a desperate search for a Thin Nick!

When will this end! I still dont even have the original knife I ordered!
 
Marry rich, or rob banks. You might have a slim chance to afford to satisfy the craving!

Just how do you define "worse"?

Just wait till you feel the need to pay $1,250.00+ per knife for several at a time, and feel lucky to get those particular knives, it happened to me last year.

Just wait till you hunt for a particular knife for 7 years or so.

After you spend $2,000.00 for a Busse you are DOOMED, DOOMED I tell you.
 
Maybe Jerry should provide a HOG Punch Card to buyers. Every time you buy one, the card gets punched. Two punches for customs. Then after x-purchases, you get get a big surprise!
 
'06- one Hell razor. By the end of '07, 12 more Busse combat blades. I now have 22 and will have 24 whenever my NW-SAR 5s arrive. At this rate, I'll have have 35 by the end of '08. Is it a 'problem?' Not really. I'd have to call it more of a 'life choice.'

A life choice you cannot evade and over which you have little control.

Ah, well. There it is.

As to 'getting worse.' Your only hope -- avoid the knife shows and most especially Blade!! :eek::grumpy::eek:
 
This infi stuff is just terrible. I have been trying to sell off everything that is not bolted down to pay for my new love. I have bought about 11 blades in about a month and ohboy do I need to slow down. But no regrets it has been fun.
 
Welcome to the infidiction, my friend! There really is no turning back...really...have some more Kool Aid and rejoice over, as OP so well put it, you new "life choice!" :thumbup:
