I have a Blind Date tonight and I need help!!!

Hogs and Hogettes, I have been single for toooooo long and I have a Blind Date lined up for later tonight. I will admit that I'm nervous, trying not to be but, well you know.

Here's my perdicament. I really don't want to come across as a show-off sooooo......

Should I wear my black coated SHBA or my Satin LMS!?!? I was thinkin' that the shiney satin finish of the LMS might be too much but I was also thinkin' that the size of the coated SHBA might be too much. So what do you think? :confused:

Leather or Kydex? :confused:

My vote's for satin and leather too... Be sure you use it to cut your meat at the restaurant too - chicks like that :D :thumbup: Good luck.
 
Thats easy: if it's formal the Satin LMS
if it's casual the SHBA

or ask her what she carries. Good luck ;)
 
Why don't you entice her with your large package and wear a SHBM?? According to polls conducted by Cosmopolitan magazine, "size does count".

That's funny because I met a woman a few months ago on a "blind date" of sorts. During the conversation I mentioned knives and she gets a big smile and says, "I like knives. I always carry one."
If she's good, I bought an extra Skeleton Key that might end up in her EDC rotation. :)

Nice! I've found that if you're open and honest about your knife habit upfront with new women, you find out real quickly if they'll make it to the second round. Either they freak, are indifferent, or think knives are cool...the ones that freak out sometimes just need training, otherwise they get kicked to the curb, the indifferent ones are sometimes worse because they are the ones that don't understand and get miffed when the knives get more attention than they do...now the ones that think they're cool are more few and far between, but when you find 'em you've struck gold (that's assuming they've already passed the 'hotness' test) :D
 
don't show her the hardware till she's had a couple o three snorts of pigs nose, then show her all you got!! :thumbup:

I agree. Don't waste time finding out "where this might go." Go ahead and show your true colors, Jerry. Guess it kinda depends what you want...

If you want to just get introduced, go with either you mentioned.

If you want to see if you might be tolerated for a year or two, try a SFNO or a Badger ergo.

If you want to see if she'll have "real staying power," show up with a Steel heart or a Mojo.

If you want to see, right off the bat, her true potential compatability score, go ahead and whip out the SHBM or an Internal Affair that I'm sure you have laying around there somewhere.


Just remember,

(Uuuh, on second thought, big sheath may NOT be what we want!)
