After years of using and buying almost exclusively SOG I have got bitten by the Bark River bug. However to combat this infection I need to buy another SOG product but it needs to be under $40. I have had a twitch 2 and Flash 2 in that price category. Anybody got any suggestions?
 
Yes, SEAL Revolver unless you are looking for a folder and then the Salute might be something nice to pick up. Actually maybe a Blink as well. It is a great knife for its size.
 
I have thought about the revolver. It would be very versatile and in the size and price range. I will seriously consider it. I am leaning toward another SOG fixed blade. Thanks
 
How about a Field Pup? It is a good all around knife, although I'm not sure about its longevity in a survival situation. It feels amazingly balanced, light and comfortable in MY hand. It feels like an extention of my hand. Since it's right at 4", it's the blade I always carry in my car. Four inches is the limit of my state's knife laws.

You should at least hold a Field Pup to see what you think.
 
Folder or fixed? EDC or to admire? Tactical or fruit peeling? For a folder I'd suggest a Trident. Fixed a Field Pup or maybe a Seal Pup. EDC a Flash, tactical a Trident. Below $40 that's about it for me.
 
Hey guys, I have a Trident tiger stripe coming in the mail. It is a user but looks in great shape and for $35 too.:D
