One of my life's guilty pleasures is peeling a red sweet delicious apple with one of my case peanuts and cutting it into wedges. I then put Peter Pan crunchy peanut butter on them. Yummo...:D

Am I alone?

I like to cut my apples up with me old Case 2 blade congress, but no PB on my apples for me. I have seen many people eat PB on their apples, but I can not get with it. I like just plain Granny Smith apples.

Well I used to stir the peanuts in my pepsi with the main blade of my stockman until I gave her away, now I use whatever knife I carry, but never a spoon ;), Ive never ate apples with PB though - might have to try that some day.

For me it was a Case SS 6.5 Large Stockman to score the skin of a Orange to peal it.

Alone using Case Peanut or eating PB with apple? I like the apple with PB, but use my custom Fong for the cuts. I have a bunch of Case peanuts, but my EDC is Fong and Bose Peanut.

Similar, but I eat my apples skin on, with Vermont Cheddar--a real Yankee treat.

Yep! Even in Oregon. Though they don't really understand the meaning of "sharp cheddar" on this coast, I must say... Luckily the Vermont Country Store exists.

(Though I too am MA born&raised, I don't admit it often. I prefer to remember my years in NH. :))

Red Hot Apple.

Case yeller handled Peanut, CV Blades
Red Hot [tm] cinnamon hot candy
Butter.
Microwave safe dish.
Wax Paper.

Core the apple with Peanut.
Place into microwave safe dish (bowl)
Main blade "pat" of butter inside core.
Add Red Hots.
More Butter
More Red Hots.

Cover with wax paper, and microwave until done.

I get 2 apples per small 25 cent box of Red Hots.
This is fast , depending on your microwave, and size of apple.
Mine does 2 apples in about 8 minutes.

This is great year round, especially great in the Summer months when one does not want to heat up the kitchen using the oven for either Red Hot Apples or Old Fashioned Baked Cinnamon Apples.

*yummy*

Dunno about this PB on apple thing....quasi-perversion!

Good tart but firm apple sliced up with Mini trapper Wharncliffe, Case mini copperlock or a small belt knife (Peanut I find a bit too small for apple duties) Nice chunk of Cheddar(English pref!)some blue cheese or Camembert, the apple MUST have the peel but sliced into bite sized slices,a nice glass of red wine or a decent ale, some crackers or a good loaf = gourmet snack. Can promote patina too...

I Havent done that in years!
My Mom would keep the apples in the fridge, an ice cold bitter green apple with smooth kraft pb

Sandwich the peanut butter between the apple wedge and a piece of Hershey's milk chocolate, and you have perfection. Try it and see.
