A year ago today I got a Case CV yeller handle medium Stockman. It was dull and had nicks in the blade, it also had a buch of crud in the joints. I HATED IT. But I put a patina on it, cleaned it, and sharpened it up and now it and a Buck 110 are my edc. I am looking for a Large CV Stockman in 6.5 Bonestag. I also want a CV Sodbuster. I am now a big fan of Case. I can get that thing razor sharp with no problem at all. Thanks for reading this and any comments or tips are welcome.

i have the large CV stockman in the bonestag...very awesome knife courtesy of a fine friend. i doubt you will be disapointed. fine looking and working knife.

i love case CV. after carrying a reground buck stockman for a few months, the CV felt like a huge improvement in edge holding. the buck was not bad, but it lost its bite after shaving some wood. it still cut after that, but it didn't shave hair. the CV has much better edge holding in my opinion.

After I got my K.R. Johnson ATS 34 Sodbuster I dug out my old CV Case Sodbuster Jr. and for some reason that Case got back in rotation too! They are both super sharp now!
