You know who I'm talking about. My Knife (I was tricked into puchasing because of ignorance at the time) is very similar. What is the difference with the RC-3? I'm trying to justify buying the authentic blade.

I'll assume you are talking about ontario, If so one undisputable bonus for RAT Cutlery is their warranty.

-The handle is a bit longer on the RAT version.

-I believe the blade grind is a bit different.

-The sheath is a better quality.

-The fit and finish is better.

-The blade coating is longer lasting and more heavily textured on the RAT cutlery version.

-The heat treat is better, allowing for a more flexable blade without loss of toughness.

-The warranty is matched only by the best in the industry.

I've owned both models and while I loved the Ontario version at the time and it served me very well, the RAT cutlery version is very much a step ahead.

Hits the nail on the head right there. That pretty much sums it up.

The warranty itself is worth the extra little bit of $$ and than some.
