I have a few questions....

I have a few questions, and instead of making several threads I thought I would make just one.

First: Was there ever a Groove produced with colored G10 overlays? I am really interested in this knife, but I am tired of the boring black G10 on everything. I want color!

Second: How many stainless steel JYDs were produced? I know that it was a full production knife for a few years, but does anyone have an estimate to how many Kershaw produced during the few years that they were selling them?

Last, but not least: Is there any ETA of the bigger Cryo yet? I am really anticipating this one!

Yes, Black and Gray, and also a Red one for Snap-on (had the Snap-on wrench cut out of it).

More than 7, how much more, I don't know, sorry.

No ETA at the moment and not sure how much an ETA can be trusted, since the original Cryo was told to me to be ready in June (that was back in Feburary).

I'm not sure about the groove and I just saw a JYD on here for a really good price it's too bad you missed it. I would keep an eye out on here if you want one of those. As far as the Cryo 2, I also would like to know when this knife is going to come out. It took forever for Kershaw to get the Echelon, Knockout, and Piston moving in production. So I'm guessing the Cryo 2 is probably gonna take a few months to ship out even a few batches.

So for the Grooves, Ore_Ele was right, your only color options are red with the snap on wrench cut out on the top side, and the gray G-10, both were the recurve silver Grooves. There is the all black DLC coated tanto version with a dual grind striated blade. There is also the rainbow version, that uses black G-10 overlays.

I am trying to find someone to make me some custom extended G-10 overlays. basically the same shape but stenciled bigger to cover the pivot screw and all the clip screws. Both sides would be the same pattern but a divot for the pan head pivot screw for the top side. You would have to go clip less. I am thinking about getting a couple sets, maybe in blue. Let me know if your interested or know somebody who might want to make these.

I would think there would be at leads 1000 of the stainless JYD's at the low end.

I think I heard the bigger Cryo might be out by the end of the year, I think its still too early to tell. The smaller Cryo I should be out pretty soon.

You might want to inquire about scales from Barry H. on BF. I have seen some of his other scales he has made and they are well done.
