Special thanks to Maprik (Phil) for the AMAZING anodizing job on the blue Umnumzaan. You have to see this thing in person to appreciate the exact shade of blue. If you're even considering anodizing a CRK, he's your guy. Absolutely great dude to deal with.

Any by the way, sorry for the quality of pics, I was using my cell phone.

Love the carbon fiber! I have a preorder out for the new 25, and will get a second one when they release the carbon fiber version of it later

Welcome to the Club, make yourself comfortable cuz this is going to be a long beautiful ride.

I love the carbon fiber on your Zaan. My question is have you noticed any decernable blade play with it attached? I only ask because the frame is what supports the blade/acts as the stop pin.

Yep, you got a problem. But I'm your friend, and I want to help. Pack them all up and send them to me, and never think of them again. Your problem will be solved. Anything to help a friend. :p

You know, I was worried about that before I got it in hand as well. After comparing it to my other three, it's the smoothest, least play (all Umnum's have a LITTLE bit of vertical), and earliest lockup of the bunch. And even if the CF wears away slowly at a microscopic level, the titanium on the other side is completely holding the thumbstud/lock stop in place securely... similar to how Strider uses titanium on one side and G-10 on the other.
