I just wanted to tell you all that my wife gave birth to my second son on Jan. 30, 2003. His name is Shinobu and my son Kenshiro and Akita Kumagoro is very curious. He is healthy and happy. I'll post some pictures soon.

Another future H.I. Khukuri lover!!!! :)
 
Congratulatons! I had one of those 5 months ago, my third boy.

Guys you oughta see Ray's Sundang and Barong from Kris Cutlery!!!!
I don't know if the same finish is on them, but Ray had used Cold Blue and Ferric Chloride IIRC to come up with a highly unusual and very desireable pattern on them. Absolutely Beautiful and after a little stropping on my, well actually Rusty's strops that I made him, both were even sharper than they had been.
This was at the 1st khuk convention in Reno.
I will never forget that beautiful finish!!!!:D
 
If you are like most of us the first thing you hope for is goeed health for Mom and new babby.

I figure if a kid is good and healthy any other problem is a piece of cake.:)

I just had one a month ago--its the HI baby boom:D

Glad to hear mom and baby are both doing great too!!:)
 
Congrats, BA and Chiyo-san! All my best wishes to your boys and whole family.
I've just had a baby, Katsuki, join my family on 18th Jan. She's the same age as Shinobu, and her sister Amane is same age as Ken. Hope to meet the girls to your sons!
