so I heard it was possible to heat color(I don't know the actual term lol)
using my oven so I was wondering if it'spossible to do it to the hardware on my spyderco pm2
and if so what are the specifics what do I need to do?

Heat coloring stainless steel is going to take a long time.

You could color the hardware but you'll likely not get super awesome results.
Heat coloring is mainly seen with titanium because it just flames so well and takes great colors.

Someone will be along with more information than I can give.

Messing with heat and steel hardware is not good. Many of those parts are hardened and that could lead to a bad time.

On steel...color means temperature. this heat can ruin your knife if not done right.

Also, the oxides formed are just a thin surface layer that can easily scratch off.
