I need a small favor, please!
I have a question, but I'd prefer to email it to you.
If possible, let's do this tonight thanks.
This regard the value of a Busse for a purchase on my part.
.
Post here, and I'll send you the email.
thanks

I'm not a "Old Hog" like skunk or others, but I have been following prices for awhile, if you want more than one opinion, I'l try and help you.

Tim

Randucci helped me out.
I thought he bailed for a minute there.
thanks for everything.

Well, if a mod. says it's okay.....
I was asking about the current asking price for the non-metalic Polymer-whatever Busse, and the guy wants $300. I was informed this price is on the high side.

Just a tiny little bit!   good grief!

Pricing often relates to how many are available at a given time.

I sold a couple of Stealth Hawks a couple of years ago for $200.00

I have sold them for as much as $300.00 before that.

Out of production, not commonly seen for sale.

Post in the wanted section, see what kind of offers you get.

Remember Opinions vary, and pricing as well.

You get to decide what you are willing to pay.

Getting in a hurry can be costly.

Waiting to long can cost you, missing a good or great deal.

I just gave full retail for a NICK in trade a few weeks ago, I have seen them cheaper
But I have my own reasons for spending a little extra.

As far as I know there is no other knife that will do what a Stealth Hawk will do.
I would not have traded mine for a NICK, and that is the same $300.00

Of course now I have both.

Bwwaahhaahhaahh,

All of your Busse Bases are mine

You got to see the Video.

You can saw through a 1/2 inch hemp rope.

What other plastic knife can be driven with a hammer through the top of a 50 gallon drum with no damage that I could see,,,,,no damage from the hammer hitting it either!!

I have slammed one into a car door,,,with my hand (I was wearing a glove)

It has a bit of flex strength.

And that's not all,,,,,But I am lazy,,,,and not good at typing.

If I needed one the Stealth Hawk could be replaced by no other knife I know of.

I want mine for "Just in Case", a break glass in case of Emergency sort of thing.

I hope to never need it.

Exactly, as Andre and Dwayne have shown, that price could be considered high or about right, depending on the version (BAT or std point), sheath, and buyer demand.

These are sweet pieces for sure. I can't bring myself to break mine in

What's the difference and which is worth more?

In my uneducated opinion the one with the Busse Armoured Tip would be more expensive than the standard.

What matters is which was produced less.
Not necessarily, demand, not numbers dictates price of a certain piece. I've seen short run knives that dont seem to gain any value, and some production pieces that skyrocket. ie take the Jungle Defender, still commands the same price it did at release on average, and the BAe that I've seen go for 350.00 and higher and its release price was 230. Go figure

EDIT to add: IIRC there were at least three versions of the Stealth Hawk out there, one might be a variant. And Peter is right, the BAT version commands a higher price. I saw a clip point Stealth Hawk sometime last year and still kicking myself for not getting it. Up till a couple of years ago Shomer tek had them for 175.00 still kicking myself on that one too. :p

Excellent example Dwayne! You are spot on, especially with those two.

When you compare similar models that's usually the way it works.
There are always exceptions.
