I've been away from Bladeforums for a couple of years, and I see there is no more company store, and I don't see anything from Skunk on the forum. I'd like to know the story behind that. Also, will Busse start regular production once the rush at the custom shop is over? Is there another "company store" that filled that void. Thanks, and it's good to be back. It's been a rough couple years. :)
 
Busse has been doing regular production releases like crazy. Hundreds of models.

They are catching up right now, and will start releasing new models in "two weeks".

I dont know the reason behind the company store.
 
The Company Store disappeared without any real explanation from Busee or the Skunk.

As for the custom shop, they just got overwhelmed and stoipped taking orders (for a year, they said).

There is not another company store, but when they were doing "Operation 2 Weeks," (O2W) new blades were being offered every week.

O2W has been on hiatus since before Blade, and there's no word on when it'll be back, other than Jertry saying"two weeks" maybe two months ago. My best guess is that it'll be at least six months before they start shipping the last of the current O2W offerings (the BB 13). But I'd also guiess that O2W will start up again ib the not too distant future.

But there's nothing like the Company Store where you could order a knife and have it shipped the next day. If O2W started up again next Wendnesday., I wouldn't expect people to be receiving anything from new offerings until a month or two into 2017.

But then, I have no idea what's really going on in Wauseon, and for all I know, they could have suspended O2W because they're doubling or tripling their production capacity, and in no time at all "two weeks" will really be "two weeks."

And also, if you peruse the Busse site, you will see all the crazy offerings they have been pumping out!
 
Skunk lives in my basement. Sometimes he tries to escape, but I lay all these on the floor in front of his room and he can't get past them
