I Have a Screw Loose...

No, not in my head...and lost actually not just loose. I picked up my Resilience today and noticed that the screw on the left side right in front of the lanyard hole (the ones that hold the scale on) is MIA. Nothing is loose or falling off, but obviously this isn't a good thing either. Can I just call Spyderco and order up a replacement? It would seem awfully silly to have to send it back for something that takes 30 seconds to fix.

BTW, the Resilience (with clip removed) has become a favorite back pocket knife for me lately. I like to carry my Matriarch Emerson in my RH pocket and the Resilience in the back right for utility use. And yes, I checked my pants pockets and had no luck on the screw.

I know they'll send people replacement clip screws (I've never had to replace any, but I've read about it a few times on the Spyderco forum), so I can't see why they wouldn't/couldn't send you a replacement.

I finally got around to calling today, they said they will send me a replacement set for free.

Sal & Co.- Thank you, you don't have to be helpful, and this isn't exactly a high end model for you I realize but I greatly appreciate it. This isn't my first (Tenacious) and won't be my last (Endura, Matriarch, Resilience) Spydie.

I've had nothing but exceptional customer service with Spyderco. If the new screw doesn't fix it, I hear their warranty service isn't bad either. I just sent one in to have a screw drilled out; so I'll have to see how that goes.
