My first one was a Spartan that I bought quite a while ago and I recently gave it to my best friend. I bought a Deluxe Tinker for my back pack because it has a lot of useful tools in it. I also got a silver alox Cadet for Christmas. I recently came across a couple of Wengers at Kmart. I got a Highlander and an Evolution S 10. I bought a Victorinox Huntsman and Explorer online yesterday. I think I may like Swiss Army knives!

Which SAK's have you bought lately?

Lately? How far do we go back on that determination? The last three I bought about a week ago were a Camper, Super Tinker, and Sportsman.

You do have a problem. You'll settle down to what makes the most sense to use eventually. My last one that I purchased was a Vic Adventurer to be a spare for the regular one I carry every day. Things happen and they get damaged or you loose them.

My problem is I've always had a hard time finding a SAK with all the tools "I" want -- that isn't the size of a small car. I often carry my favorite SOG folder and a small Classic in my change pocket. You just never know when your gonna need a toothpick.

I have had no need for a "new" SAK in over 15 years. The only time I purchase one is when I forget to take my Midnite Minichamp off the keychain and get it confiscated (it's happened 3 times). I order the same exact knife the very next day.

Confiscated by who?

You BAD man - you tried to scare all those poor people. Some of them are probably still having nightmares about your knife..........

No knives at Six Flags? They have scanners at the entrances now?

Prior to 911, I had the metal detector boys at an airport find a switchblade in my carry on brief case. It had been there for years behind the liner, I was appreciative. :)

Nothing like carrying along that post-paid padded mailer, or folded-flat Priority mail box, already posted with your home address and postage. Heck, I'd walk back to my car to put it in there, too, rather have to shell out for a replacement knife.

To the OP, my last two were a used Alox Soldier, and a like-new Tinker for a friend.

I scour ebay, Victorinox made some knives with the Alox barleycorn scales in red with brass liners they are scarcer than hens teeth I have a Soldier. but am looking for others

Last three I bought were a Compact, Swiss Cheese Knife and a translucent Classic SD Pink Ribbon to match my StreamLight Nano Pink Ribbon on my keychain :D

I have ten Vics now. EDC one every day. Mostly the Climber because it fits so perfect under my cigarettes and Zippo in my right front pocket. My most beautiful one is a discontinued red Alox Soldier. No safe queen though.
