That can only be scratched by a big beefy tanto... What should it be? The only requirement is that it must be left friendly...

The Blur isn't lefty-friendly. You could look at the ZT0400 or the ZT0700. I'm not sure if either one of those are lefty-friendly though.

Emerson's CqC-7 can be had in a left hand model, but the only place ive seem them was directly from Emerson. You could but ultra rare would be a sebenza 21 left hand model with a tanto. I do know of one online site that has one in stock just Google left-handed sebenza 21 tanto and the site should be at the top of the list. Benchmade Barrage Knife can be had in a tanto and the axis lock is just rock solid and easy to use for any one. I think the CRKT M-16 line has a lefty friendly model.

Thanks for the posts...

I have been looking at the Emerson line but I don't like the cqc7 chisel grind, I could get over the ordering direct...
I would order that 'Benza tanto in a second but the left is showing OOS fro me...
Right now the 0700 is in the lead...

ElectrikHellfire picture: I like the Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto with the stripped paint look.

I picked up a 0700 stonewahed during Christmas. It's one heck of a nice knife for the money.

It's for sure out of your price range but isn't there a lefty Umnumzaan tanto? I would think a bit more saving could net you something like that. Closer to ur stated price, there are lefty cqc7s and there's a cqc7v that has a regular v grind (I don't know if there's an actual left handed version if that particular knife). Check out the Hogue ex1 tantos too :)

Edit: never mind the hogue, I mistakenly thought the clip could be moved to the other side :o

I'd buy it in a second if I could find one...

The Cold Steel tanto Voyager, while simplistic in terms of blade steel (Aus 8) is a reliable choice IMHO. The nicely stonewashed blade doesn't scream tacticool in the least bit, and it has Andy Demko's coveted Triad Lock, which just about makes the knife as far as I'm concerned. Very stout knife, that still isn't overbuilt if that makes any sense.
