7 1/2" OAL, 3 1/2" blade. Red palm bolsters, brass and red spacer spacer, and black palm handle. Thanks for looking, Mitch

Thats a really elaborate handle for a beginner, and you did a nice job with it. I like the choice of materials too. I think I'd want a little more to keep my hand from sliding up onto the blade though
Nice job once again, keep it up :)

Very nice combination. I too would like a little more finger protection, though as long as you keep in mind that you could slide up on the blade there's nothing wrong with that design. One question, the metal spacers are not simply epoxed in are they? I've seen several that were came loose from the expansion and contraction of the natural handle materials. A horizontal pin or even a hole drilled through the spacer and into the handle slabs for an epoxy rivit will prevent this shifting of the spacer.

All in all a great job!

I thought about that, so I pinned it in....pain in the uknowwhat.

Seeing as how the design is really for pull cutting, sliding would not be an issue.

Look at the design, it is not designed to [push cut, so slipping shouldn't be an issue....thanks for looking.

Yeah, I was thinking of me.....you are right. I forget that a non knife person might handle it one day.

Aside from what everyone else said , that is a neat looking blade :) I'm not up to the combo material handles yet , you didnt a cool job
Keep it up bro !

I'm just giving you a hard time. Its not that big of a deal. You designed this knife for your intended use, and it fits. Thats all you can do

Mitch, I like how the dark wood and the mottling of the black palm set each other off. IMHO you could have skipped the spacers altogether and still had a mighty pretty handle. Keep up the good work.

Nice Job! I really like the contrast between the red palm and the dark palm, with the accent of the red and brass spacer just setting it off.
