Personally, I think that getting rid of the "Senior Member"/"Member" silliness has been a huge step in the right direction. Now that we have the number of posts a person has made right next to that person's posting, there is no need for the arbitrary distinctions.

Some forumite woke up with a wad in their panty hose and cried for the abolition of the "Senior". Makes no difference what you're called, the important thing is what you say.

I think the change was for the better,
Most people were just posting to get up in rank but now there is no point in doing it..
But also now there is nuthing to look forward too

Look at it this way -- you are now in the same class as Jerry Fisk and Larry Harley and .. who else? I forget.... I am tempted to resign my position as moderator just so I can be promoted to the same class those guys are in.

I think the Charter Members should have a special designation... heck they have been here since the beginning! What a great place! As Mr. Rogers would say, "What a wonderful day in the neighborhood!"
 
I think it was Joe Namath. (Wow, I hate sports but I know who wears pantyhose!)

Also.... can I please be allowed to speak for myself from now on when it comes to issues of "what to be called?" The whining that goes on around here about "Don't call me an ELU!", and "I'm don't wanna be called senior since it doesn't really mean anything and I'm not old enough to be called a senior anyway." is enough to make me want to puke.

All you milk-toasts out there, PLEASE grow a pair. If you are offended by that because you already have a pair, jump and and down and get them to drop already.

Call me what you like. Just don't call me late for supper.
