I'm a former Sebenza owner. I sold off my last large Classic w/ironwood inlay about 2 years ago. I started to buy another one about 1 1/2 years ago but ended up buying a J.W. Smith folder instead. The Smith folder was a very nice and well made folder with outstanding fit & finish, but I still missed my Sebenza:(. For the past year I've been carrying large folders, i.e. Strider AR, BM Rukus, Jeff Hall Bounty Hunter, ZT0200, and the smallest of that group, a Blade-Tech Rijbak with a 3.75" blade, but I still missed my Sebenza:(. I had convinced myself that the Rijbak was the absolute smallest blade I would carry, that anything smaller was out of the question and anything with a blade less than .150" thick was beneath my notice, but you know what, I still missed my Sebenza:(. Sooo, to make a long story short, I has rectified the situashun!!:thumbup::D I have a large Classic w/snakewood inlays coming my way for Christmas. I have been thinking about stopping my collection of big, long, and stout folders for a little while and collect some of the large Classics w/wood inlays. After all they are big and syout enough to do what I need a knife for.........guess I must be compensating for something with those big, long , and stout folders I already have!:o:)

Anyway, bottom line and what matters is that a large Classic Sebenza with some snakewood inserts will be under the tree on Christmas morning!

Congratulations. I have a large Classic blue dog paw Sebenza waiting at home to be opened on Christmas. Shortly thereafter, it will be joined by a small Classic blue dog paw Sebbie, maybe for Valentine's Day 'cause I love me so much :D.

Each of them will get an identity disk from one of my girls attached to the lanyard and they'll be carried and used on occasions when I do things with my dogs (wait a minute... I do everything with my dogs). Well... maybe they'll be EDCs, then.

Anyway, enjoy your new Sebbie. Those Snakewood inlays are gorgeous from the pix I've seen.

Thanks guys and gals:) I'm looking forward to it. Now that I've pared down my knives to only what I will definately carry getting a new knife is fun because I do a lot of research beforehand to see if it will fit in with what I carry. Several very nice knives talked about on BF, I wouldn't buy simply because the pocket clip lets too much of the knife hang out of the pocket and it doesn't look like I can modify it to how I want it to be. So far I've really only had to modify one of the knives I have (Strider AR) as the rest have come with low ride clips and the Sebenza is a low ride clip as far as I'm concerned!
