Many thanks to those who have given me their opinions about choosing a Busse, and which one offers the most versatility.

I recently purchased the Basic #7 and am very happy with it. I also like the sheath (cordura with kydex liner) - it suits the medium duty user quite well.

The knife is ergonomically awesome, and I am looking forward to adding character to it through some extensive use.

I agree with you about the Character Marks, the only way to really appreciate the knife is to use it.

You should feel good about getting the Basic 7. Cliff Stamp thoroughly tested the Basic 7 & it took him two years to break it.
