Hey guys

I just received a karambit about two days ago. It's the Spydie and it has a zip tie wave. I truly am scared of the knife, because the thing is sharp and i mean razor sharp. I truly realize that you can not get complacent with a karambit, because if you do you will get cut:D

I have already cut my shirt in three seperate places because it was a bigger shirt and i didn't realize that everytime i pulled it out it would cut about an inch of my shirt at the bottom.
What can i say except it's my first karambit, and first ziptie wave. Overall I love this knife, and do a lot of drills with it. Atleast i know one thing for a fact If i get a trainer i might get complacent, but if I keep using this my hands and mind will stay sharp, because there is a danger if i screw up i will cut myself.

take care & by the way if you don't have a karambit get one & if you already have one get another one:cool:

take care

Hey AJ...

I've got one,, and can also tell you they are Very sharp..

you will have to get use to the Karambit....

I handle them every day,, so hopefully I've gotten use to the shape and where that bloody tip is...

However if you want to get a Real waved knife,, I suggest the Waved Endura..

The Spydy Kerambit is probably the most danerous looking knife I've ever held. My former room mate is not squemish about knifes, he uses them regularly (he always has an Axe in the trunk of his car) and is used to see them on me. But when I pulled out the Kerambit, he took a step back and asked whether I had borrowed it from Jack-the-ripper (those were his exact words). It looks like a down right nasty meat hook. Still I think it is a very efficient design, though I would add the small modification of a litte curve on the top of the handle for the middle finger in the extended grip (that is Michael Janich's idea btw., not mine)
