I have never seen this lock before.

I was given my father's knife very recently, and I am at a loss as to the blade lock. I have never seen one where you pull a tab down.
It is 6" long wood handles, pinned with 2 steel pins. It has the working blade and a cork screw mounted center opposite side.
The working blade is released by a long tab you pull directly under the pivot pin.
 
There’s knives that sound similar to that called leverlocks, I don’t know if that’s it, though. Hubertus has a wide variety of them, usually the first company that comes to mind for that type of lock for me.

There are also no markings to be seen.
