I just bought a Delica 4 FFG Vg-10 off of another member on here and according to the tracking on it they said that it would be here today. I was excited all day and could not wait to get home and get to the mailbox to get my new knife. I opened the mailbox and dig through it and nothing, got through all the junk mail looking for the box key and all that I found was disappointment! :grumpy::grumpy: I hope it comes tomorrow!

Huh, the PO. Do not even get me started. 80 days to FINALLY receive a box of 12 CDs sent from Florida to North Carolina!!!! This is no exageration. Dozens of phone calls, emails, and multiple visits to my PO. What a farce.

Nah dude I knew all about it and swiped that thiing out ur box today;). Your mailman probably forgot it was in the truck ,u should have it 2moro. Now onn a serious note ii sent my spyderhawk to golden a month and a half ago for some work and have still not got it back yet. Scary part I hhave to send my para cts in because you need a prybar to close lock. I really don't want to wait this long again esp wiith a knife I got to use for three days before my thumb said that's it dude.ahhhhh I love spydercos though and these are the only two I ever had problem with

HAHA. That sucks about your knives, and here I am bitching about a day! I would be afraid of sending a Para in too....especially a CTS Para. Good luck...and I will check the mail tomorrow! It better be there!

That is fricken insane! What the hell was their excuse? I would be furious!

I always send stuff through the USPS priority w/delivery confirmation; if its anything valuable insurance is dirt cheap compared to the value of high-end knives.

UPS is the only other way I mail out stuff, its automatically insured up to $100 for their basic ground...they have a 3" limit on knives though while the USPS lets you mail bayonets out of the country? :D LOL

Is that a new thing with UPS? Asking because, AFAIK, Spyderco ships all their knives UPS.

I got it. It was only a day late, I am impatient though. It is just as described, Minty fresh. This is the second knife that I have bought off of members here and both of them Spyderco. I am completely satisfied with all the great people that are in here. A lot of the other forums that I am on for cars have a lot of deuchebags that just want to flame you for everything. I am Definitely going to get more Spydies in the future and I will keep a look out here first. Thanks for all the help and motivation. Thanks Undertow82 for contacting me about it before he put it on the market. I wish I could leave feedback, but there was no thread topic on it since he saw that I was looking for one and messaged me. I would also like to thank Sal for making suck great knives. I have bought my first and second of many in I week.

3-5 weeks is normal transit time for me. The stress of not knowing whether I'll get the knife I've paid for has me drinking a lot of espressos. :D

What's more is I can not ship knives out because of some arbitrary local rules at the airport. So no sending back knives if something's wrong.

I'm still pretty glad I can buy online. :D

Damn that sucks SIngularity and I am worried about waiting 5 days for one! It was one day late and I got worried. I could not wait for 3-5 weeks...I would go insane. I once bought a iphone charger from China and it was supposed to take that long, after 2 months it did not show, they gave me my money, but I will not buy anything shipped from China again.

Nice score smoakie. The Exchange here is a wonderful place to acquire some hard to find knives and some great deals on other knives. I've bought a few really awesome knives here.

I've gotten two really good deals.... I think! Bought a Caly3 CF ZDP189 for 50, cause he wanted me to get addicted to spydercos, I think I am. Got the FFG Delica for 40...... Both are Minty fresh IMO. They both told me about the minor carry flaws. Scratched clips and some scratches on the blade. No one I'm embellished anything. The exchange is a great place to get blades!

I agree! Now if everybody agreed to ship overseas....

Is expensive to ship overseas? Or is the laws the reason that no one does it. I see a lot of people that say no overseas shipping. Just wondering if someone knew.

Well, it's more expensive to ship overseas. Rates to the Philippines approximately, First class $14, Priority $18, Express $27.

It's not just about the shipping though, because most overseas buyers are quite willing to pay for shipping. Sometimes there's the hassle of needing to drop off packages at the counter(no automated drop off). A lot of sellers also don't want to take the risk of losing the item in transit or to foreign customs. Lots of reasons really and I don't blame the sellers one bit.

As a buyer though, I pay for shipping and I assume all risk for the item once it's in transit.

That sucks, but is awesome that you pay for shipping and assume responsibility for package in transit.
