Welp I have really done it now.
Just pushed the buy now button on a sterile grey Carbon steel RBK.
Delivery states on or before the 26th.
Lets hope I live that long ..lol

Imma get a sheath made, get black Micarta on it and probably strip the sterile grey off it and get it coated with something supertough.
Anyone have a recommendations for the best blade coating around ? ..lol I want my great grand kids to be handing this down to their kids.

P.S. I am really really hoping that I can get the magical Mr Fisk to convex this thing That would make it Perfect.

P.S. I maaaay have to sell my Fiddleback to be able to pull this one off, PM me if you want to talk about it.

That is the first one that popped into my head too, but I didn't know if it was the best or not.
I have seen a few on Equip to Endure, and Nutnfancy, and read about some on the forums too.
I want the best for sure on this bad boy.
 
Congratulations on a great score! I hope you live to enjoy it. :D If not we'll be in touch with the lovely Mrs. Silverthorn about clearing out some of that "useless" junk. LOL!!!!!

Wow, I just did a Completed Items search, and the only one sold in the last day or two claims to be brand spankin' new, never used, factory edge yada yada yada. Not a horrible price considering that, assuming it's all true of course. Hell, I think it's about fair market value even for a user, though the shipping was a bit outrageous.

I just bought my first Smartphone recently. I'm going to have to find an App that I can set to do automatic, daily searches on that website so I never miss another opportunity to get an RBK. I've wanted and enjoyed every Becker I've owned, but I need and jones for an RBK!

Aaaaand That is why I bought it Sky.
I knew that if I farted around, someone else was gonna scoop it up.
The dealer has a great rating and a LOT of reviews so I am hoping that his affirmation that it is nib unused with only discoloration from age on the handles is accurate.
I already have Black Micarta coming from Saints Cutlery.

Ah, so you bought it! Grrr, I was watching it. I just spent some quality time with an RBK. Great bush blade, you will love it!
