I had a small collection of Emersons not too long ago, and one by one got traded away. Well, I'm back in the game now. Just picked up a Mini Commander from 2006 in a trade. Pretty happy with this one.

Traded my Spyderco digi Para last week for a 7A. Missed the Para some so I bought another today.

But now its not a case of one or the other like I intended......Im keeping the 7A.

Im not sure why I like the knife so much. I dont prefer dead straight knives. I dont prefer linerlocks. I dont prefer the liners + G-10 "fatness". I dont prefer tactical style knives.

But for some reason this 7A bucks all that and is just so damn endearing. It carries much thinner than it is. I dig the thumb disk. The LL is rock solid.
Its ergonomical and inspires confidence.

I'm eyeballing the CQC-15s now....

The only one I truly regret ok the only two I truly regret trading, were my CQC-10, and my kreined 7B, made to be a 7A.
