I have some serious CRK history and rare pieces, not sure who will appreciate them.

Hello, I have a large P Sebenza with original birthcard, paperwork, box, old school CRK black button sheath, tool, and I was wondering what its current value is? It is in mint condition with only a few very small surface blemishes and a beautiful ats-34 blade. I haven't seen a Large P or even an Original Sebenza in months. They have all but gone away. The last sold for $850.00 and didn't have all of the accessories that mine does.

I also have a large Regular BG-42 with everything from 2001 that is in B.N.I.B. condition. The last one I saw sold for $620.00 but once again wasn't near the condition that mine is.

Any input would be great. I have a collection of 8 super old and rare Sebenzas and Im considering letting them go. I even have a Large Unique Graphic P in one of Chris' CRK Wooden Coffin boxes. Spoke to Anne and she said that maybe 25 exist. Also have a letter from Anne that is proof that one Large Regular that I have has an experimental blade on it, its a Large Regular with ATS-34 steel and its NOT numbered, even Anne said she never heard of one of those before. Got the letter to prove it. It also has birtcard, box, etc, and it in minty fresh condition.

I mean I even have one of Chris' flat ground Sebenzas with his signature and birthdate enscribed into the blade, now that was a hard one to find. Only 120 were ever made and Chris swears he will never make a 100% flat ground blade ever again. Also have the third specimen from the super rare Mammoth Bark piece on a Mnandi from 2006. There were first only 2 then I found one all the way across the Atlantic Ocean, literally. They all had to have come from the same piece of Bark, Mine is entirely dark green, just like the other two. Same birthdays within a few days and all from the famous 2006 mammoth bark. I don't want to say who owns the other 2 but they are shown in the Mnandi forum.

Nowadays, you rarely even see a legit regular, this stuff is way before all that. *I think I have some serious CRK history here but I want it to be appreciated as it took me years to put it all together. Just not sure what to do. I know that there are still collectors that would appreciate such knives and the fact that they are ALL complete with original birthcard and box makes them all them more rare. I have spoke with Anne on many occasions and she even could not remember some of the items. I had her write up a letter for the experimental blade as she had never seen one before. She even had Chris work on it as the lockbar was a bit sticky.
I had a matching set or righty and lefty numbered P's but I sold them along with a blued raindrop Damascus Regular. I know those are beyond rare but he was supposed to buy all of them but after getting those he backed out. It was super f*cked up but not much I can do now. Anyways, any input would be much appreciated and take care. Ryan

This post sounds as though you're looking for someone interested in purchasing them. This is not for the General Knife Discussion Forum. Why don't you try the BUY/SELL/TRADE forum?

Maybe the folks in the CRK forum could offer you better info? Sounds like some pretty serious gear you have there...

Good luck! :)

That sounds like a spectacular collection, mate. I'd love to see some pictures, especially of the flat ground Sebbie.

Most everyone on this forum will appreciate those pieces! Please post some pics to go along with the description......

That sounds like an amazing collection! I am sure there are many members that will appreciate them here. No idea on value other than it will be a lot!

By the way, this thread is worthless without pics!

I would love to see some pics too. Also, I agree that the crk forum would be better for this, maybe you could ask a mod to move it?

I picked up a BNIB 1997 BG-42 Regular for $400 last year, if that's useful as a price point.
