My roommates orange military. His name is Scott0 here on bladeforums. He uses his military like its supposed to be used. He brought it home today from work and I wanted to show some pics of what a nice orange user is supposed to look like. :D

Can orange g10 develop a patina? :):)

I wish it were for the sole fact that I will probably end up having to give it a nice clean/sharpening real soon. Dont mind it though, I seem to do that everyday for one knife or another.:)

Just soak it in dish water for awhile and scrub it. :)

Don't forget to rinse it off in very hot water (Dries faster) after then air dry and oil.

Hes a mechanic. Thats mostly engine oil/grime. Im thinking disassemble and hit the scales with dishwashing soap. If that doesnt work, maybe brake parts cleaner?

Orange G-10 soon shows dirt and loses that bright fluorescent glow, if you use it a lot.

If you clean it up good then use 3-in-1 oil it will brighten it back up. :)

Personally I like darker G10, requires less maintance. :D

I think that looks great! My user orange Military is no where near as dirty as that one, yet. Thanks for sharing Kirko and Scott0.
