I'm still on the hunt for a Camp Tramp, but I think I might give up and go with something similar from the new line. Are you guys taking orders yet? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up at the Swamp, and breaks over. Thanks.

Thanks for the link, I remember something similar to the Camp Tramp in specs and part of the new line up was described recently. I thought it was in a thread I posted about my quest for a CT, but I must've been wrong.
 
That's what sniping programs are for. Set your MAX bid while you are reasonable. When the auction gets close, don't even watch. Eitehr you get it for your price or less or some other guy overpays. Either way, you win.

I've lost about 2 dozen Ipod Shuffles that way. No way am I paying full-bore price (or more) for the same thing I can get from Apple with FREE shipping. ;) But some folks get caught up in the auction and HAVE to have THAT specific Ipod. OK. Have fun. I'll just eventually get one from Apple.
 
Hey Dennis...Maybe you know maybe you don't. Apple cuts their prices for eduacation. If you know any teachers/students in any grade or any age have them buy it for you (or put it in their name) and you'll save even more. Look on education link on their site. Ignore this if you already knew.....
 
I knew. I think the cheaper Ipods are exempt. I thought I checked it last year some time and the student price was the regular retail price.

Besides, I'm lookin at a 1/2gig REFURB Shuffle. We're talkin $49 shipped. It's not for me - it's for my 9 yr old. I'm on the fence of if she will take care of it or not. So if I can get it cheaper than $49 (and not have it made in China), I'll do it. But I've given up lately. Ebay bidders are a dumb lot.

shs - use the sniper programs. Nothing ethically wrong with them. You don't really harm others, you save yourself money instead. (Think if you bid your max bid 3-days-to-go. Then someoen outbids THAT. And so on. I never bid early unless it's Buy-it-Now.)
 
Sniping doesn't bother me, just letting another company have access to my account. That auction is a little rich for my blood right now though.
 
I'm working a bid on a stripped down CT right now, but no sheath. Oh well... I wouldn't mind looking for a sheath if I get the knife!

Yeah how about the one that hit 300 today.....and the Scrapper going for 2x what it will sell for. These blades are out of control! Forget the savings bonds I am going to get my kid these knives, so she can sell a few and pay for college later in life:D

He doesn't have a sheath, but man, I still want it. Alls fair in love and war, but thanks just the same. Looking at the other one, I don't think I'm going to be in the running for very long.:grumpy:
 
I can't believe there's a Ratweiler on there with a BIN of only $285, and that's already a relist, when the CT's are hitting $300 :confused:
 
Theres a Battle Scrapper out there too, if it had a wider blade, it would fill my need for a CT. I did a search for the pics of the new line, what replaced the Camp Tramp, and does it have the Res c handles?

Look at the M6 on eBay right now with a current bid of $190, a "Buy It Now" price of $205, plus $15 shipping.

You can buy these things from the Swamp Rat store immediately for $169. Makes no sense.
