Last week I turned in my W2 form at H&R Block with a family friend, who filed it for free. This is the only tax variation I have to file, as my summer job at my local school district didn't give me enough earnings to necessitate a formal filing.

I haven't spent a penny of my summer's wage, or of my return, up until this point---I've been using careful spending and necessary maintenance chores for my family members (mowing lawns, cleaning pools, shoveling driveways, raking leaves) to give me an excellent source of earnings---they certainly pay better than the school, which was minimum wage! :D

Anyways, I dipped into my summer earning to fund a recent knife purchase---a Becker BK9, a RAT Cutlery RC3, and a Becker Necker.

All excellent knives, with more detail reviews to follow...although they'll probably review nothing other than the shining things that have already been said here.

God bless.

After spending a record amount on a Fulton Armory M1 "Tanker" in .30-06, I decided last year it was time to drastically limit myself in the cutlery department; I believe my last purchase was a Victorinox Pioneer Harvester. I have been lucky enough to receive a few knives as gifts for the holidays and my birthday though, as well.

If there's one thing I've learned here on BladeForums, don't get hasty in buying a knife. Do your research and you'll end up happy; don't, and the ending of the story is up in the air.

Nice choices. All of them will work hard for you and most likely outlive you.

Nice choice on the rifle too.

Thanks. :)

Fulton Armory, RAT, and Becker put out some excellent stuff.

The M1 holds a special place in my heart, even more so after seeing Gran Torino.
