Sloth, my oldest nephew turned 21 yesterday and my youngest turned 7 yesterday as well. My son is at his cousins slumber party right now. My boys birthday is Thursday, he'll be 5. Don't have a clue where it went!

Pre partying now, kid less is the best reason to party!

Daniel, just you wait a few years, you'll understand!

Family reunion in the morning. I have to get up early to grill some smoked sausage for red beans & rice.
Somehow I also ended up as president of this shindig. Go figure.

Haven't had a chance to say hi in a while, started a new job as a floor manager at a nice place in town and I'm walking 13 miles a night around the place. Really amazed at how great the folders have been turning out, DF! Congrats, hopefully after a few months working full time again I'll be able to swing one. Hope all you guys are doing well too.

Howdy Ian, congrats on the new job. 13 miles a night  you should get some of those shoes with wheels.:D
Wilson, that smoked sausage and red beans and rice sound killer...now I am hungry.
I am just chillin' with Jen, working on handles, having a few drinks and enjoying this nice weather.

Hello, I am new here and do not know my way around very well please excuse any unintentional trespasses. Was impressed with a knife from an old posting here, it isn't really listed at the knife site, so I would like to contact Mr Fairly someway find out if this knife would be available again sometime, it was Mr Fairlys idea of a "bushcraft" knife, length of 9 inches, chisel edge, 3/16, had blue/black scales. If anyone can help me out with info or contact methods (don't do facebook) I would really appreciate it. You guys really know your knives from reading some post, I have learned a lot but miles to go. Thank you again.

flex- I really liked that bushcraft knife as well. In fact that blue/black g10 version was the ONE I was hoping to get him to make again... :) OF course this time it will be with meteorite ions and cougar squill.

Rolf.. so did Wally give you that knife for me yet? :D It was long.. like 32in katana long :) WELL! :D

X- I keep forgetting our oldest boy is a week apart.. like exactly O_O age 5 is so far becoming pretty sweet.. cept he can now understand WAY too much, lol...

Flexauger - Welcome to Bladeoforums and Fairly knives!!! Great to have you by here.

I know the knife you speak of, that is my Large Bushcraft model. It really means a lot to me that you came here to contact me about it, I do not have any lined up in my current plans as I am backed up for the year and no longer take orders... but I am always listening to feedback. I will keep your request in mind so lets stay in touch. danielfairlyknives at gmail dot com for email

Contact Daniel!
He'll hook you up.

I do my best... I wish I had the capacity to take orders again. I opened my books for a weekend after I went on break last year... lol thought I needed to just open them... well after three days I am still working on some of those knives and that was in December!

Hey thanks! Like I said, I am listening to feedback. I usually get a lot of requests for them around now and should do a small run if I can fit it in. The chisel grind really works well with wood.

Baby due here... any day! You guys may want to wait a week or so to ask me again. :D :p

Wally Hayes - I really look up to him... saw that recent Dammy Waki or the likes on a friends FB page. You guys get his videos if you want to make knives with few tools, they are the best.

Thank you Mr. Fairly for the quick reply. I may establish contact with email just for backup I will be emailing from tpulliams at artelco.com. Glad that your business is so good that speaks well of you and your knives sadly it means myself and sounds like a few others will have to wait for those books to open again! If it is any help, I would order 2 of the knives and pay in advance, maybe another poster or two could chip in for a few more of the bushcraft knives to give it more weight lol, cant blame us for trying huh. I don't know how to do all that "embedding" you guys seem to do but I would like to thank lycosa and sloth for their replies and helpful info.

What "embedding" are you referring too? There are settings in profile to embed pics in your "sig line", and there are icons in your posting tools to embed photos or links from other sites...

I'd be in for a bush crafter with taco kydex sheath. Dual color G10 scales. Steel type.. NOT O1 :D Just because. Perhaps a stainless tough steel but also relatively easy to sharpen, perhaps s30v at a medium RC hardness.. 58?

Hmmm I'm hungry, whats for lunch!

flex- You are welcome.
Daniel- Sorry about misunderstanding flex's post.
Sloth- dunt drink in the daytime.
:D
