My great grandfather left this knife to me when he died, it is most likely ww2 era but I do not know for sure.
It has a spoon, fork, sack-opener, scissors, a straight edge blade, a saw, and a combination bottle / can opener in the top, and on the bottom there are a pointy thing, another pointy thing (May be a canvas needle), a file / screwdriver, and a corkscrew.
Some Pictures:

It is also showing its age, the metal is corroded, and it has taken a lot of work to get it to look like that. The blade also has some deep scratches that I do not know how to remove.
Thanks.

My Dad had one of those, He was a Boy Scout in the 1950's.

Brand, I ask about this knife on one of the forums, can't remember but I think I was told it was Camalus, not sure.

Preface: I know jack about old knives, so don't take anything I post on the matter as even remotely credible.

Anyways, here's a link to a photo album that has 2 similar knives. One listed as Colonial brand, and one as a Japanese knife. Not sure if that helps. If you'll click the "Report Post" button (little exclamation point) at the top of your post and ask to have your thread moved to BRL's forum, those guys would probably get you an answer post haste.

My dad gave this to me back in the 60s

One thing it is NOT is a "Swiss Army" knife - I had one sort of like that in the post WW II era -that was marked "occupied Japan" - I wish I still had it as it would be worth some bucks by now with those markings; meanwhile - just put it away and treasure it as being from your grandpa!
Peace

I don't know what brand it is but I would not worry about the scratches or about cleaning it up, It's character. You could put some light oil on it. And like revvie said, just put it away and treasure it as being from your grandpa!
