Hey guys - I recently acquired an amazing fixed blade that didn't come with a sheath, & it was just wide enough to not fit any of my existing leather sheaths. I first looked into purchasing one from a few of the awesome sheath makers here on BF, & I found the wait times (because everyone's busy, as they should be) to be a bit more than I wanted, so I thought, there's got to be something on the ol' *-Bay site that's pre-made & inexpensive that would at least allow me to carry this knife quickly.
So, I found a nice light brown leather with an integrated belt loop - which I prefer, for my new knife, for about $14 shipped, & another sheath for one of my EDC sized fixed blades, this one was significantly "fancier", for a bit under $30 shipped.
Well, to my amazement, they're both here & I could not be any happier with each of them....they really are exactly what I was after, in every way, & I'm pretty shocked. The quality of materials, the heavy duty stitching on both, & the embellishments on the smaller sheath, it's what I would have hoped for from one of the great makers on BF....I was bracing for disappointment, but they were so affordable, it was worth the gamble to me. Did I just get extremely lucky or what??
