I would say the Mini Presidio in particular. Its compact, built like a tank and probably one of the most comfortable folders I've ever held. It feels solid in my hand compared to my 556 which feels a little lost.
I still prefer the 525 over the 527 though. I think the biggest complaint with the 525 was the aluminum scales which are almost like cheese graters in both directions. I adjusted the clip so it barely touches the scale to save my pockets. I had a little tear in my eye when they disco'd this model after being in production for several years. I feel like they should have given it some machined G10 scales similar in shape to the CF ones that came on the Gold class version. I feel IMO this would have solved the biggest complained with the 525 and it could have been a great knife for Benchmade. Maybe they will bring it back in full glory with new scales
The 527 Presidio seems to be a more affordable version which has less aggressive scales that are nice enough but I'm not huge on plastic and I think they are a little chunky. The 525 scales were thinner and more contoured. I also slightly prefer the 525 blade shape as the 527 tip is a little thin.
