I have to admit that I really like the feel of this knife in hand. I know it's a very economical model, but that doesn't mean they didn't get it right. There are two things that will work themselves out with a little use. The detent is "stout" right now and the pocket clip is so tight that it is hard to get in and out of my pocket. About the pocket clip. This is the lowest riding folder I have, the clip design is dead on.

I'm a +1 for the Cryo.

Best,

You can bend the pocket clip a bit to your preferance, and the detent will like you said lighten up a touch from use. Just be carefull flipping it a bunch of times in a short amount of time, as you could heat up the t-bar too much and weaken it or worse break it! enjoy it! I know I need to pick one up!

Really, I can put enough heat into it to damage it? That is new information to me. I have a laser thermometer. You know I'm going to have to check that out, but not too much :D.

It has happened! People open and close it like a hundred times in a minute or two. I am not sure if the heat would show through the scale or not being that the t-bars are very thin stock. that is a really cool idea though! let us know your findings!

I will, but it won't be until I get this detent to loosen up a bit. I'm don't good to get it opened 12 - 15 times a minute. This isn't my first flipper and I'm not a small guy, it just needs some working time.

I think that I should be able to get a reading inside the scales with the laser. We'll see. Thanks for the idea.
