This will be my second BK2. I want to strip just the portion of the blade under the saber grind down to the edge for the two toned look. I plan to sand down the micarta grips just a little for that customized custom look. Not as cool as the micarta Oregon FALer does but oh well.
Anyway, to go with my new project I bought a GSG 522 carbine. This is the MP5 22 LR that I got "for the kids" (ha ha Im a bad liar) I topped it with a red dot from Millet that I had lying around. I set up the MP5 strategically off to the side of me on the fireplace so my 10 yr old would see it when he came home. He walks in and about pulls all the muscles in his neck when he does the double-take on the rifle!! Ha! he comes walking over and begins to salivate. Next day we go sight it in and he's in love almost as much as I am!! AND we shoot approx 150 rounds without a hiccup or anything- even with Fed bulk pack 36 grain. I'm in love. I love my AR15s and all the other macho guns but 22s are really the shizzle.
What rifles go with your Becker's?
FLEXXX: if you read this, I would love to meet up with you to see if we can rabbit hunt together sometime. I just saw a pic you posted with your Desert RAT 4 with the custom scales: I have the exact knife! I love all your pics with your cool ass knives!
