Every place that i go to order a benchmade 710hs is out of stock. I placed an order with Bayou Knifeworks and they sent me an email the next day saying that they were out of stock. I then placed an order with BestKnives and they just sent me an email saying it will ship in 2-3 weeks!!Graham knives does not have them in stock either...Man i just can not find this knife in stock anywhere.
Anyone else have this problem?????

ps...and no Ebay does not have any of them listed either :)

Try 1sks. Since they are an authorized Benchmade dealer, they advertise the factory list price but can deal. I'd give Spark a call when he gets back from SHOT and see if he has them in stock. I have heard very good things about John and Cumberland also.

ok thanks,I will give Cumberland Knives a call on Monday to see if they have them in stock before I order from them. Since I already have that other order from BestKnives saying that the knife will ship out in 3 weeks...do you think they will cancel my order if i call them up?? The cumberland place is a much better deal too, if they have them in stock.

I've been looking all over for a Nimravus 140HS, haven't found one. Quite a few places have the less popular 140HSSR model as well as the 710HSSR, but no plain edge. Several places have said that their supply of HS models has been slim as it seems Benchmade is having problems either with their M2 suppliers, or other issues with the steel.
 
i looked at spoon river and it says that they only have one 710hs left and that was updated in like November 03. Do you think they would have more now???? They sure would have updated the site if they had wouldnt you think.

Spoon River IS out of stock on the 710hs
they probably have the hssr though but i want the hs

They are very popular indeed, but the primary problem is M2 supply for Benchmade. I'm not sure on the details, almost every online shop has had M2 models on order from Benchmade but haven't received any for quite a while now..........
