Well with my birthday coming up in a few weeks and after reading a bunch of threads about Strider knives, I bought myself an SMF.

It's not my first Strider and I've wanted an SMF for a few years, but I still wanted to share a few pictures....

It was perfect out of the box ..... I mean bag. Blade was perfectly centered, overall the fit and finish is perfect. I didn't know if I was going to like the Digi Cam finish, but it's actually nice.

Is the camo finish laser engraved or is it a coating?

Congrats! Thats the same configuration i'd like to get eventually...but hopefully an SnG since its a bit smaller. I could be wrong but I think the Digi Cam is DLC coated and then laser etched. I think it looks really good.

I have a stonewashed SnG too and IMO it's size makes it perfect for EDC.
 
Nice looking knife. I got my first Strider, an SnG, a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. Super high quality and excellent Fit & Finish. Congrats on your new knife.
 
Yep - thats the stuff!!

I bought a DGG digicam SmF in December and its one of my favorites. I sold my SnG a while back as it was a little too small for me, but the SmF is just right.
 
I love the camo on that Strider blade it looks perfect with that black G-10. Very nice...Happy Birthday!
 
Congrats. Striders are my favorite knife. What a great Bday present!
