I just forced a really nice patina on my mora with Scandi grind. How do I sharpen it?

Do I rub away the nice patina or make a secondary bevel? I have a Sharpmaker system. So I can do 30 or 40 degrees or set it up in a benchstone configuration (not preferable) Help?
