although I got it 2 weeks ago, I dared not test the blades sharpness for fear of disapointment. It was my first spyder a chinook and I spent the past two weeks practising the one handed opening and closing. There was a bit of blade play at first but that was taken care of with a little tightening of the hinge screw. That however made it harder on my thumb 
. Today I decided it was time for the old shaving of the arm hair routine and boy was I amazed 
. Defenatly as sharp as any razor out there, and every time I catch a glimpse at my danuded patch of skin on my forearm, I feelall warm and tingly inside .
